Rental terms and conditions
Terms for booking and renting a vehicle from ZiZi Automotive Pty Ltd.
1. Business and agreement
The rental provider is ZiZi Automotive Pty Ltd. Your booking confirmation and rental agreement identify the applicable rental details. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Booking requests and acceptance
Submitting a website form is a request only. A booking is not confirmed until ZiZi Automotive sends explicit confirmation and confirms the vehicle and dates. A request remains pending until the business contacts you with its decision.
3. Driver eligibility and additional drivers
Driver eligibility, accepted licences, identification requirements and any additional-driver charges are provided during the booking process and in the rental agreement. No driver should operate a vehicle unless authorised in the final rental agreement.
4. Rental period, collection and return
Your booking confirmation sets out pickup and return times and locations. Any applicable late-return or after-hours arrangements are explained in the rental agreement. Customers should contact the business promptly if delayed.
5. Price and payment
The quote should identify the rental rate, rental duration, applicable compulsory charges, optional extras, taxes, delivery or one-way fees and any potential additional charges. The accepted payment method and payment due time are provided with the booking confirmation. The current website is configured for booking requests and does not itself process online card payments. Do not send card details through the booking form.
6. Security bond and insurance excess
Any applicable security bond, collection method, permitted deductions and release process are disclosed before the rental is agreed. A bond, rental payment and insurance excess are different things and must be described separately. Applicable insurance or protection, exclusions and excess are governed by the rental agreement.
7. Vehicle condition, damage and accidents
The vehicle condition report should record pre-existing damage and be checked by the customer at collection and return. The rental agreement explains accident and damage reporting, breakdown assistance and any applicable responsibilities or charges. Customers should follow emergency-service requirements and contact the rental provider as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Fuel, kilometres, tolls and fines
Fuel requirements, kilometre limits, tolls, fines and any administration charges are set out in the applicable booking terms and rental agreement. No amount should be charged unless it is permitted by law and disclosed in the applicable agreement.
9. Vehicle use and restrictions
Vehicle-use restrictions are set out in the rental agreement and must be followed by all authorised drivers. Do not publish a restriction unless the business can lawfully enforce it and it is consistent with the rental agreement.
10. Cancellation, changes and no-shows
Cancellation, booking changes, no-shows and refunds are handled under the Cancellation and Refund Policy and the terms disclosed with your booking. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
11. Complaints and applicable law
Customers can contact ZiZi Automotive using the contact details provided on this website or in their booking confirmation. Complaints are handled in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Final agreement
This website summary should be read together with the booking confirmation and complete rental agreement.
